About this opportunity
The Thomas and Margaret Roddan Trust Bursary is external funding intended for students experiencing unexpected financial hardship through no fault of their own. This includes unforeseen or unexpected circumstances that arise during their studies. The bursary is designed to cover expenditure arising from unexpected circumstances, rather than planned course costs. Eligible students include undergraduates in their second year or above, postgraduate students undertaking taught courses, or postgraduate students engaged in research for a higher degree. The bursary is specifically not available to Further Education students or first-year undergraduate students. Expenditure which should have been planned at the outset of the course, such as required periods abroad or mandatory field courses and placements, are not eligible for funding.
