Thomas C. Wiegele Memorial Fund

The Thomas C. Wiegele Memorial Fund provides scholarship support to PhD candidates at Northern Illinois University with at least one PhD subfield or area of study designated as politics and the life sciences. This memorial fund was established by Mary Wiegele, family and friends of Professor Wiegele to honor his legacy and support doctoral students pursuing research at the intersection of political science and life sciences. Students are automatically considered for this scholarship based on their completed General Application through the Northern Illinois University scholarship portal.
