The Thomas M. Cheeks Scholarship is awarded to select School of Education (SOE) students at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. This scholarship supports undergraduate, graduate, and/or post-baccalaureate students enrolled in programs within the Department of Teaching and Learning. The scholarship is specifically designed for students who intend to educate within the City of Milwaukee and demonstrate academic merit with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Applicants must have completed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), if applicable. The scholarship is funded by multiple individuals in honor of Thomas M.
