About this opportunity
The Thomas P. Kapfer Memorial Scholarship Fund was created at The Pittsburgh Foundation to honor the memory of Thomas P. Kapfer, whose goodness, positive attitude, and concern for others profoundly influenced the lives of his friends. The scholarship fund was established to support students who exemplify those same qualities that Tom possessed. This single-year award provides financial support to graduating seniors from Brentwood High School who demonstrate strong work ethic, academic and extracurricular achievement, and extraordinary concern for others. The scholarship recognizes students who show spirit, attitude, and leadership qualities while maintaining a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5. Recipients must plan to attend a 2-year or 4-year college or university.
