About this opportunity

The Thomas W. Hester Scholarship supports undergraduate Anthropology majors at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee who demonstrate strong academic achievement and financial need. The scholarship provides $2,000 to full-time undergraduate students majoring in Anthropology who maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.5. Financial need must be demonstrated through FAFSA. This scholarship is not available to second-degree students or to spring/summer graduates of the award year. The award is part of the UWM Foundation Scholarships administered through the College of Letters & Science.
