Thomas Wall Trust Grants for Individuals

The Thomas Wall Trust individual grants programme supports motivated adults living in the UK to undertake education and training that will increase their chances of employment. The Trust offers grants up to £1,500 to undertake accredited vocational training up to level 3 and towards other costs associated with studying. Grantees may apply for course fees (up to £1,500) and/or costs associated with studying including childcare, travel and equipment (up to £750). The maximum grant award is £1,500. Individuals may re-apply if their course lasts for more than a year with evidence of successful progress. The programme prioritises applicants with little or no past work experience, lack of school qualifications, those taking courses not eligible for 19+ Advanced Learner Loan, and Access Courses. The Trust particularly values applications that demonstrate a realistic plan to seek employment and courses that provide support and advice into employment.
