Thorleif M Fostvedt Scholarship in Mathematics

The Thorleif M Fostvedt Scholarship in Mathematics is awarded to students with superior academic achievement entering the second, third, or fourth year of an undergraduate degree in Mathematics and Finance in the Department of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences at the University of Alberta. The scholarship is funded through endowed funds from a bequest from the Estate of Thorleif M Fostvedt. Selection is based on academic standing, with preference given to students who are not in receipt of another major award. Students are automatically considered based on their completed General Application.
