About this opportunity
The Threads of Life Scholarship is a partnership between Threads of Life and the Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals (BCRSP). This scholarship program supports Canadian students who have experienced workplace tragedy - either a work-related fatality, life-altering injury, or occupational disease affecting themselves or a close relative. Four annual scholarships of $2,500 each are awarded to Canadian residents enrolled in college, university, or trade school programs. The scholarship recognizes the impact of workplace tragedies on families and helps students pursue their educational goals while promoting workplace safety awareness. Applicants must submit an essay explaining how the scholarship will impact them and why they should be awarded, along with proof of enrollment and academic transcripts. The program is funded by BCRSP and administered by Threads of Life, a charitable organization dedicated to supporting families affected by workplace tragedy.
