About this opportunity
This Scholarship represents a unique opportunity for a suitable candidate to undertake a PhD (or equivalent degree by research). The successful candidate will be supported by an exceptional team of child and youth researchers based at the Transforming early Education and Child Health Research Centre (TeACH) and supervised by Thrive chief investigators as well as joining a large team of PhD candidates whose projects contribute to the broad Thrive project aims. This offers the opportunity to develop mixed methods capability, including access to participatory and co-design approaches and data-driven methods as well as to forge an emerging academic peer network. This scholarship offers a tax-free stipend of $50,000 per annum to support living costs. Tuition fees will be supported by an Australian Government Research Training Program (RTP) Fees Offset and support for conference attendance, fieldwork and additional costs as approved by the relevant school/Institute. This program also offers students the option of a 6-month industry placement to gain real-world experiences and be job-ready.
