Tiana Friesen Bursary

The Tiana Friesen Bursary was established in 2025/26 by the friends and family of Tiana Friesen to support students pursuing equine science education. This bursary is available to students enrolled full-time in the 2nd year of Animal Science Technology: Equine Sciences at Lakeland College's Vermilion campus. The award recognizes students who demonstrate financial need and maintain satisfactory academic standing. Additionally, recipients should display genuineness and a willingness to develop and maintain relationships in a way that helps others feel heard and valued, while demonstrating caring towards both people and animals.
