SAVOS is a grant scheme supporting the management and operation of protected and preserved vessels in Vestland, Norway. The program aims to ensure that protected and preserved vessels are actively managed and operated, serving as resources for sustainable community development. It provides funding for necessary operational costs related to vessel maintenance as cultural heritage, procurement of essential materials and spare parts, planning and competence development, documentation of intangible cultural heritage, climate emission reduction measures, and initiatives for social sustainability and public health.
