About this opportunity

This grant program supports increased participation in health-promoting, community-building, and environmentally friendly outdoor activities for all population groups, with emphasis on priority target groups. The program primarily provides grants for outdoor activities that stimulate direct outdoor participation, such as organized trips, outdoor camps, practical courses, and other training in outdoor activities. Part of the grant can be used for purchasing simple equipment and materials that contribute to promoting outdoor activities, such as fishing rods, compasses, and a limited number of simple tents. Information initiatives about rights and obligations under the right of public access can also receive grants. The program was merged in 2023 with the previous scheme for outdoor activities for people with immigrant backgrounds. Activities should be resource-efficient and easily accessible, with emphasis on implementation in local environments, particularly in cities and urban areas.
