Tilskot til fysiske trafikktryggingstiltak

Vestland fylkeskommune provides grants to municipalities for physical traffic safety measures on county and municipal roads. The grant scheme aims to strengthen traffic safety on and along roads in the municipalities. Municipalities hold important knowledge about local challenges, and the grant scheme gives them an opportunity to get support to implement prioritized physical traffic safety measures. Priority is given to measures aimed at vulnerable road users, especially children and the elderly, as well as measures that reduce the risk of collision and run-off accidents. Measures that receive grants should contain simple and cost-effective solutions that directly contribute to increasing traffic safety.
