Tilskot til tiltak i statleg sikra friluftslivsområde (kap. 1420 post 78)

This grant supports practical measures in important outdoor recreation areas that are state-secured. The funding is designated for nature-friendly facilitation and maintenance to make the areas easily accessible and attractive for outdoor recreation. Eligible activities include development of the area, facilitation and maintenance such as information boards, access improvements, parking areas, hiking trails, fishing spots, accessibility measures for persons with reduced functional ability, swimming areas and piers, toilets, waste stands, planting and maintenance, and dissemination of cultural heritage. Priority is given to areas in or near cities and urban areas, areas that are or have potential to be heavily used, areas with limited accessible shoreline and high pressure on land, and areas near inland waterways. The funding does not support operational costs of outdoor recreation areas.
