This grant supports owners of protected buildings and structures in Norway by providing funding for architectural assessments. The purpose is to facilitate future use of buildings by outlining possible solutions within the framework of protection regulations. Owners can apply for support to commission an architectural evaluation that explores the building's possibilities and potential uses while respecting heritage conservation requirements. The work must be performed by architects with competence and experience in antiquarian building work. The grant normally covers up to 50% of the total cost per building, with payment made upon receipt of the report/drawings and proof of paid invoice.
