This is a Norwegian agricultural support program that provides subsidies to cover the costs of replacement labor during illness or childbirth for farmers. Agricultural enterprises registered in the Enterprise Registry that operate regular agricultural production can apply for subsidies for replacement labor when the farmer is ill or pregnant, when the farmer has a sick child, and in connection with birth, adoption, or care takeover. If the farmer dies, the surviving spouse, cohabitant, parent, or child can apply for subsidies for replacement labor for up to 8 weeks after the death. Applications must be submitted no later than one year after the last day of the period for which the enterprise is applying for subsidies.
