Tilskudd til å bedre barn og unges psykiske helse

Østfold fylkeskommune has provided grant funding to municipalities in Østfold through the Norwegian Directorate of Health's program for public health work in municipalities. The program aims to strengthen children and young people's mental health and quality of life through systematic and long-term public health efforts. Projects will be implemented from June 1, 2025 to July 1, 2027. Municipalities could apply for funding for projects within three areas: public health and life skills in primary schools, life skills and health in kindergartens, and free play and facilitation of play in various arenas. Projects must be anchored in the municipality's planning framework and have a long-term perspective. Recipient municipalities must commit to contributing at least 50 percent of project costs (including work effort), conducting self-evaluation of implemented measures, participating in regional project meetings and seminars, and being available for follow-up researchers from NMBU/HiØ who will evaluate the program in Østfold. This was a one-time grant announcement and the application deadline has passed.
