Tilskudd til brannsikring av tette trehusområder av kulturhistorisk verdi

This grant program aims to support fire safety measures for dense wooden house areas of cultural-historical value in Norway. The program provides funding for buildings and facilities within these designated areas to implement measures that contribute to rapid fire detection, prevent fire spread, and facilitate easy extinguishing. Funding can also be used to develop fire safety plans. The grant is provided from the state budget and is administered by Østfold fylkeskommune (Østfold County Municipality) on behalf of Riksantikvaren (the Directorate for Cultural Heritage). Priority is given based on the cultural-historical value of the wooden house areas, accessibility for fire services, risk of fire spread, and the effectiveness of proposed measures. The program particularly encourages municipalities lacking current fire safety plans to apply for funding to develop these plans.
