About this opportunity

This grant program aims to increase knowledge about and awareness of religious and philosophical communities in society and to promote diversity, inclusion, and solve social challenges. The program supports dialogue and public debate characterized by mutual understanding and respect for differences and common values such as democracy, rule of law, and human rights. It also stimulates knowledge development and competence building on religious and philosophical policy topics, and encourages increased collaboration between municipalities and religious/philosophical communities. In 2026, dialogue initiatives for youth will be prioritized. Eligible applicants include religious and philosophical communities, organizations, associations, and municipalities. Grants range from 50,000 to 400,000 Norwegian kroner for projects that promote collaboration between different religious communities/denominations and help prevent polarization and hate speech.
