Tilskudd til drenering av jordbruksjord

This grant supports the drainage of agricultural land in Aure municipality, Norway. Good drainage reduces the risk of erosion from agricultural areas and contributes to good water quality and aquatic environment. Well-drained soil emits less nitrous oxide than water-saturated soil. The purpose of the scheme is to increase the quality of previously drained agricultural land, reduce the risk of erosion and surface runoff of nutrients to watercourses, and lead to increased food production. The municipality decides on the grant application in accordance with national regulations. If granted, the subsidy is paid after a written request from the applicant and when the project has been approved with a final budget.
