Tilskudd til drift av beitelag (OBB)

This is a Norwegian agricultural grant program that provides subsidies to pasture associations (beitelag) for the operation and management of grazing areas. The grant supports organized grazing activities including supervision, gathering, and other collective measures related to mountain pasture grazing. The program applies to sheep, goats, and cattle grazing in outfield areas. The subsidy is calculated per animal released to mountain pasture and is intended to promote more rational utilization of outfield areas and reduce loss of animals on pasture.
