About this opportunity
The purpose of this grant scheme is to facilitate an active and attractive city by providing grants to organizations that contribute to promoting quality and diversity in Oslo's outdoor recreation offerings and support work to preserve nature. The City Environment Agency will prioritize organizations that, through educational and outdoor activities, contribute to increasing children and young people's outdoor activities in Oslo. The program encourages activities that are free and accessible to all, not limited to the organization's members. Applicants are encouraged to think green in planning and implementing initiatives. The grants are available for sports, outdoor recreation, and nature conservation organizations that promote quality and diversity in Oslo's outdoor offerings and support efforts to preserve nature. The total budget available for distribution in 2026 is 3,200,000 NOK, subject to budget approval. Due to limited funds, not all applicants who meet the criteria can expect to receive grants.
