Tilskudd til friluftslivsaktivitet

This grant program supports outdoor recreation activities in Norway, administered through Miljødirektoratet (Norwegian Environment Agency). The program aims to increase participation in health-promoting, well-being creating, and environmentally friendly outdoor recreation for all groups in the population. The grant prioritizes activities that are low-resource and easily accessible to different user groups, particularly those conducted in local environments with emphasis on cities and densely populated areas. Priority is given to activities targeting children, youth, families, persons with disabilities, persons with immigrant backgrounds, and those who are physically inactive. The program emphasizes activities that encourage direct outdoor recreation participation such as organized trips, outdoor camps, practical courses, and other training in outdoor activities. Applications that include self-financing or volunteer work contributions are prioritized to maximize activity levels. The program requires that costs such as participant fees and equipment rental should not prevent children and youth from participating in funded activities.
