Tilskudd til idrettsanlegg

This grant program supports the construction, rehabilitation, or furnishing of sports facilities and outdoor areas for physical activity in Norway. Sports organizations can apply for funding to build facilities ranging from climbing walls to alpine slopes. Housing cooperatives and associations can also apply for grants to develop local community facilities, which are outdoor areas for self-organized physical activity, such as fitness parks or ball cages. The facilities must be open to the public and not based on profit. Applications are processed through the municipality, which reviews and prioritizes them before forwarding to the county council for final decision. The county council allocates gaming funds provided by the Ministry of Culture to approved projects.
