Tilskudd til ikke lovpålagte båtruter

This grant program supports non-statutory boat route services in Vestfold county, Norway. The program provides subsidies to private and/or public operators who establish passenger boat routes that are not legally mandated. From 2024, annual grants were awarded for a four-year period (2024-27), subject to annual budget allocation by the county council. The subsidy can cover up to 60% of total costs from all public sources combined, with ticket revenues going entirely to the operator. Applicants are responsible for determining routes, stops, and capacity, as well as obtaining necessary permits, certificates, insurance, and agreements with docking locations. The program emphasizes accessibility and good mobility throughout the entire journey chain. Support is provided under de minimis aid rules according to Commission Regulation No. 1407/2013. The next application round will not occur until the 2028 season, pending budget prioritization.
