This grant scheme supports innovation within the cultural sector and cultural industries in Oslo. The program aims to facilitate collaboration between culture and business sectors, encouraging exploration and testing of new ideas. Applicants can also apply for funding for pre-projects and concept development. The scheme prioritizes initiatives that explore, experiment, and involve project startups; create new value that can benefit other actors or initiatives; use existing competence or resources in new ways; contribute to increased internationalization; develop the industry and strengthen cross-sectoral collaboration across disciplines, cultural genres, and business; and have shared economic risk with other contributors. The program does not fund normal operations, completed initiatives, or projects based on fundraising, and applicants cannot receive funding from other municipal schemes for the same initiative in the same year.
