About this opportunity
The City of Oslo offers grants for integration work carried out by voluntary organizations. The goal of this grant program is to contribute to participation and integration in society and the labor market among people with immigrant backgrounds. The grant supports projects and initiatives with people with immigrant backgrounds in Oslo as the main target group, including residents of asylum centers in Oslo. The program aims to increase participation in various social arenas, improve Norwegian language skills and digital competencies, combat barriers to integration such as racism and discrimination, promote gender equality, and strengthen collaboration between voluntary organizations and public authorities. Organizations can receive up to NOK 1,000,000 per grant year, with exceptions for Norwegian language training projects. The grants are primarily awarded for one year, but multi-year grants for two or three years may be granted in special cases. Eligible applicants are voluntary organizations registered in the Volunteer Registry with a registered address in Oslo.
