Tilskudd til integreringsarbeid i regi av frivillige organisasjoner

This grant program supports integration work conducted by voluntary organizations in Fredrikstad municipality. The goal is to promote participation and integration in society and working life among persons with immigrant backgrounds in Norway. The program supports increased participation and representation of persons with immigrant backgrounds in various social arenas and voluntary organizations, improved knowledge of Norwegian society, better Norwegian language skills and digital skills, and qualification for participation in work and education. It also aims to counteract barriers to integration such as racism, discrimination, negative social control, honor-based violence, female genital mutilation and forced marriage, as well as work to increase gender equality. The program seeks to increase knowledge about participation and integration in the population, strengthen competence and capacity in voluntary immigrant organizations, and increase collaboration between organizations and with public authorities.
