Rakkestad kommune can provide grants to clubs/associations that prepare and maintain ice rinks and areas for skating activities. The grant supports organizations that create ice rinks in local communities for public use during winter seasons. The funding amount is determined based on several criteria including the size of the ice rink or area being maintained, any expenses for ice preparation in the previous year, ongoing maintenance of the ice surface, and the number of ice rinks available in the surrounding area. Applicants must submit financial accounts from the most recent ice season and present plans for the application year.
