Tilskudd til istandsetting av kulturminner i Oslo

Byantikvaren (The City Antiquarian) provides both state and municipal grants for the restoration and maintenance of heritage buildings and sites in Oslo. The grant program aims to ensure that cultural heritage properties are maintained and restored in an antiquarian-appropriate manner, and to inspire and set examples for others to follow. Property owners can apply for funding for restoration work on protected buildings and sites, as well as buildings and areas regulated for conservation purposes. The grant program particularly prioritizes projects where restoration work results in additional costs due to antiquarian requirements or recommendations. Eligible expenses include restoration of original windows, improvement of original roofing, use of lime plaster and lime paint on masonry buildings with proper color schemes, planning of larger restoration projects, and fire safety measures. The program supports owners of properties that are protected under cultural heritage laws, buildings in conservation zones, and properties listed as heritage-worthy.
