Tilskudd til kartlegging/verdsetting av friluftslivsområder og ferdselsåreplaner

This grant scheme aims to strengthen the knowledge base about outdoor recreation areas and contribute to more uniform and systematic management of these areas. The program also supports the planned development and more uniform management of outdoor recreation routes. Regional and municipal authorities can receive funding for mapping outdoor recreation areas and developing municipal plans for outdoor recreation routes. The mapping and planning work must be carried out in accordance with methodology from the Norwegian Environment Agency. The scheme is divided into two parts: county councils can apply for project management and coordination of municipal mapping and planning, as well as implementation of regional mapping. Municipalities and intermunicipal outdoor recreation councils can apply for implementation of municipal mapping and development of municipal and intermunicipal plans for outdoor recreation routes.
