Tilskudd til konservering av kirkekunst

This grant program from the Directorate for Cultural Heritage Management (Riksantikvaren) supports the conservation of church art in Norway. Church art includes inventory, art, and decorative elements in church buildings. The program provides funding for professional conservation work carried out by certified conservators who are members of the Nordic Conservator Federation - Norway (NKF-N). Riksantikvaren prioritizes funding based on the art's value, age, and condition. Eligible costs include planning, safeguarding, conservation, travel and accommodation, transportation, insurance, reporting and dissemination of church art as part of conservation and safeguarding work where a professionally trained conservator has been commissioned. The program does not cover scaffolding or other arrangements in the church, restoration of interior and architectural elements, replacement of parts, or preliminary projects.
