Tilskudd til private frivilligsentraler

Bergen kommune provides operational support to private volunteer centers (frivilligsentraler) that are pre-approved by the municipality. Volunteer centers are local meeting places that connect individuals and organizations to create a good voluntary environment, quality activity offerings, and effective collaboration with local public entities. To receive funding, centers must meet the criteria specified in the national Regulation on Grants to Volunteer Centers. Organizations that are approved will automatically receive state funding in addition to municipal support. The support is intended to enable year-round operations adapted to the size of the grant, with organizations expected to provide local financing of at least 40% of total operating income and maintain at least one full-time equivalent staff position.
