Tilskudd til reinbeitedistrikter og reinlag

This grant supports reindeer herding districts (reinbeitedistrikter) and reindeer herding associations (reinlag) in Norway. The program aims to contribute to the sustainable development of reindeer herding, crisis preparedness funding, administrative operations, health and safety work, and relief for vacation and leisure time. The grant includes multiple components: a fixed grant for administration and resource management, a variable grant based on the number of siida shares with production premiums, crisis preparedness funding at 150% of the district's own allocation (minimum 20,000 NOK), and special grants for the Trollheimen district. The funding is designed to enable balance between reindeer numbers and grazing areas, secure land areas, and increase profitability while supporting districts' crisis preparedness, relief schemes, and workplace health and safety initiatives.
