Tilskudd til reindriftsanlegg

This grant program provides funding to cover costs for the construction of fences and reindeer husbandry facilities in Norway. Eligible applicants include siidaandeler (reindeer herding units), siida (reindeer herding groups), reinbeitedistrikt (reindeer pasture districts), or reinlag (reindeer associations). The program supports permanent fences, gathering facilities, slaughter facilities, enclosures, marking fences, and grazing areas. Funding also covers construction of new facilities, expansion or modification of existing facilities, including changes necessary for electronic individual marking systems, and demolition of facilities with unknown ownership. The grant covers material costs including built-in inventory, transportation, specialist work such as electricians and plumbers, and own labor at a maximum rate of 210 NOK per hour. In special cases for larger facilities, hired consultant assistance may be included. For slaughter and fence facilities, costs for roads, parking, and water/sewage systems may be included. The program is financed by the Reindeer Husbandry Development Fund and has two application deadlines per year: January 15 and September 1.
