Tilskudd til siidaandeler og reinlag

This is a grant program for reindeer herding units (siidaandeler) and reindeer associations (reinlag) in Norway. The program provides various types of subsidies to support reindeer herding operations, including production premiums, calf slaughter subsidies, and special grants for women and youth in reindeer herding. Leaders of siidaandeler and representatives of reinlag can apply for support based on their sales income from reindeer meat and products. The program aims to support sustainable reindeer herding by providing financial assistance to active reindeer herders who meet specific income, age, and operational requirements. Multiple subsidy types are available including production premium (up to 41% of total sales income), calf slaughter subsidy (up to 700 NOK per calf), youth subsidy (up to 40,000 NOK), women's subsidy (up to 40,000 NOK), establishment subsidy (up to 120,000 NOK first year), and spouse supplement (up to 30,000 NOK). Applications must be submitted digitally through Altinn by May 31st each year.
