Tilskudd til sikring av friluftslivsområder

This grant supports municipalities and intermunicipal outdoor recreation councils in securing areas for outdoor recreation activities. The Buskerud County Council administers this funding program on behalf of the Norwegian Environment Agency (Miljødirektoratet). The grant helps ensure public access to outdoor recreation areas, particularly areas with high usage that impacts public access rights or attractive areas with special qualities. Through this program, public authorities acquire land through property rights purchase or establish permanent usage rights through easement agreements.
