Tilskudd til sikring av stavkirker

This grant program from Riksantikvaren (the Directorate for Cultural Heritage Management) provides funding to owners and managers of stave churches in Norway. The program specifically supports measures to secure these medieval wooden churches against fire, vandalism, or climate-related events. Stave churches are unique Norwegian architectural heritage from the medieval period, and this funding aims to preserve and protect these historic structures. Riksantikvaren maintains ongoing contact with the owners of the 28 stave churches in the country and accepts applications on a rolling basis throughout the year.
