About this opportunity
This grant supports signage, marking and information related to hiking trails in Oslo. The purpose of the trail signage project is to contribute to increased and safe outdoor recreation where people live and stay through signage, marking and information related to hiking trails. The grant funds are allocated for marking and signage of hiking trails in accordance with the Marking Handbook and the associated manual for the trail signage project. The support is only for the purchase and production of signs, markings and information boards (including mounting devices) and for information related to the boards and trail maps. No support is given for engineering, information materials, improvement of the trail itself or for marketing. Priority is given to trails near where people live, fully planned projects, projects that are part of a comprehensive plan, trails with activity plans, trails with expected high usage, trails connected to public transport stops, collaborative projects, and projects that plan to document usage.
