Tilskudd til skogbruksplanlegging med miljøregistreringer

This grant supports forest owners in developing forest management plans and resource overviews, including registration of forestry and environmental information. The grant covers different types of forest inventories including single property inventories, joint inventories for multiple properties within a geographic area, and area inventories for most forest properties in a defined region such as a municipality. Additionally, forest owners can receive support of up to 50% for costs of courses on using forest management plans, provided the course is approved by the County Governor. The scheme is administered by the County Governors (Statsforvalteren) who process applications and make funding decisions based on approved standards and inventory methods. A key requirement is that at least 50% of the area included in the inventory area must have pre-ordered plans, and digital data must be submitted to the Norwegian Institute of Bioeconomy Research (NIBIO) for archiving. The grant is designed to help forest owners gain knowledge about their property resources, which is essential for evaluating and utilizing the economic potential of the property and for planning important forestry measures such as timber harvesting, young forest management, and road construction.
