Tilskudd til store kulturinstitusjoner

Bærum Kommune offers grants to large cultural institutions and regional and national competence centers within arts and culture that operate in Bærum. The purpose is to stimulate, maintain and facilitate innovation and development of cultural life in the municipality, contribute to quality and diversity in Bærum's arts and cultural offerings, and create well-being, belonging and positive identity through culture. The grant scheme supports administration, operations and activities that align with the institution's or competence center's purpose. Recipients must be programming, producing and communicating cultural institutions with year-round operations and permanent employees. Funding can be provided for administration, operations, activities within the organization's purpose, and exceptionally for major individual projects. Institutions must be registered in the Norwegian Business Register with cultural purposes, have been registered for at least one year, and have a postal address in Bærum. Applications are assessed based on factors including cost-intensive cultural genres, artistic quality, professionalism, and high level of ambition. Activities must take place in Bærum, be public-facing, and open to all.
