Tilskudd til større arrangementer som profilerer Østfold

Østfold fylkeskommune offers funding support for major events that profile Østfold within sports, outdoor recreation, and physical activity. The grant program aims to develop a coordinated regional initiative for large events of national and international significance, strengthening collaboration, innovation, and volunteerism. This funding supports planning, project development, and execution of national and international events including competitions and gatherings. Applicants must be organized so that any surplus cannot be paid as dividends to private owners, such as municipalities, sports organizations affiliated with NIF, voluntary membership-based organizations, or event companies owned by such organizations. The events should create local engagement, contribute to economic value creation, build regional brand and reputation, and demonstrate sustainability according to UN Sustainable Development Goals.
