About this opportunity

This grant supports the work of voluntary organizations and associations in Agder, Norway, contributing to a strong, diverse and independent voluntary sector for increased participation and better living conditions. The grant aims to strengthen the sustainability and capacity of the voluntary sector in Agder, and to reach the goal that by 2030, everyone in Agder, regardless of age, gender, ethnicity, income, functional level or field of interest, should have the opportunity to participate in voluntary activities. The funding supports equipment, catering, transport, accessibility costs, training, and other costs for implementing activities and voluntary efforts. Up to 25% of the awarded sum can be used for salary, operating and administrative costs related to implementing the activities and initiatives applied for. The grant particularly prioritizes initiatives that increase participation and inclusion, reduce barriers to participation, involve collaboration between organizations or with public actors, support children and youth especially those in difficult life situations, engage groups with welfare challenges, increase organizational capacity and robustness, and support organizations with few other funding opportunities.
