This grant program provides funding for measures that contribute to the best possible utilization of pasture in outlying fields, reduce livestock losses in outfield pastures, and promote collective measures in grazing areas. The program supports both planning and facilitation projects as well as investments in fixed installations and equipment related to pasture use. Eligible activities include planning and project design of fixed installations, new organization of grazing associations and outfield grazing areas, project-oriented work to stimulate increased pasture use, time-limited testing of new equipment, development of grazing management plans, and vegetation mapping. Investment support covers permanent installations such as barriers, gates, bridges, shepherd huts up to 20 m2, collection and sorting facilities, access roads, salt stone dispensers, transport rafts, and electronic monitoring equipment like radio bells and tracking devices.
