Tilskudd til tiltak i statlig sikrede friluftsområder

This grant program supports physical development and maintenance activities in state-protected outdoor recreation areas. The program is administered by Østfold County Municipality on behalf of the Norwegian Environment Agency (Miljødirektoratet). Municipalities and intermunicipal outdoor recreation councils are eligible to apply for funding to improve public access and maintain outdoor recreation areas. Priority is given to areas in and around cities and densely populated areas with high potential for public use. All activities must align with principles of environmentally friendly facilitation for outdoor recreation and be consistent with an approved management plan for the area.
