Tilskudd til tiltak i statlig sikrede friluftsområder

This grant program provides funding for physical development and maintenance activities in state-secured outdoor recreation areas. The program is managed by Akershus County Council on behalf of the Norwegian Environment Agency (Miljødirektoratet). Applications can be submitted by municipalities and intermunicipal outdoor recreation councils for projects that facilitate public access to protected recreational areas. Priority is given to areas in and near cities and densely populated areas with high potential for public use. All projects must align with principles of nature-friendly outdoor recreation facilitation and comply with approved management plans for the respective areas.
