About this opportunity
This grant program supports initiatives that reduce plastic pollution in Oslo municipality and the Oslo fjord. The funding aims to strengthen efforts to minimize plastic and marine pollution through reduced use of single-use plastics, cleanup and prevention of pollution in the inner Oslo fjord and waterways, and attitude-changing work. The program prioritizes projects that stimulate reduced use of plastic and single-use items by replacing plastic products with more environmentally friendly alternatives, contribute to cleanup of plastic and marine pollution in the inner Oslo fjord and waterways in Oslo, and increase knowledge about plastic pollution and change attitudes and behavior among residents and businesses in Oslo. The total funding pool is 3 million Norwegian kroner. Collaboration between actors is viewed positively.
