About this opportunity

This grant program aims to promote equality for persons with disabilities in society by increasing awareness and respect for human rights and combating stereotypes, prejudices, and discrimination, in accordance with the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD). The program supports projects that increase awareness, knowledge, and competence regarding the CRPD, combat stereotypes and discrimination against persons with disabilities, and contribute to increased attention, debate, and equality for persons with disabilities. Projects can receive funding for training, competence building, awareness-raising, attitude-shaping work, and knowledge development. Grants can be awarded for up to three years, with funds disbursed annually subject to parliamentary budget approval. The program particularly values projects that directly involve the target group, are innovative and can inspire other actors, produce results that can be shared with other actors working for equality of the target group, involve collaboration between multiple actors, and demonstrate strong co-financing from the applicant organization.
