Tilskudd til ulike utviklingstiltak

This grant program provides funding for various development initiatives within the reindeer herding industry in Norway. The program supports practical measures, structural initiatives, professional development activities, and climate adaptation measures. Eligible projects must contribute to developing the reindeer herding industry in accordance with reindeer husbandry policy goals, promote reindeer herding in the district or area (benefiting more than just the individual applicant), and comply with current laws and regulations. The program operates on a rolling basis throughout the year, subject to available funds in the Reindeer Husbandry Development Fund. Applications are processed by the Norwegian Agriculture Agency (Landbruksdirektoratet) and decisions are made either administratively by the agency (for non-principal cases under 200,000 NOK) or by the board of the Reindeer Husbandry Development Fund. Fifty percent of approved grants are paid automatically, with the remaining amount paid after submission and approval of accounting and documentation.
