About this opportunity
Oslo kommune offers grants for urban agriculture projects to increase knowledge development and urban farming activities in Oslo. The grant scheme supports initiatives such as establishment of community gardens, construction of planting boxes, beehives, and chicken coops. The program is part of the municipality's focus on environment, climate, public health, meeting places, integration, user participation, and entrepreneurship. In 2026, 2 million NOK will be distributed. Projects should not extend beyond two years, and priority is given to initiatives that promote one or more of the following: environment, climate, public health, user participation, integration, or entrepreneurship. Priority is also given to projects promoting organic production and/or contributing to knowledge-raising about urban organic agriculture, as well as projects that are open to broad participation.
